Large Language Models (LLMs)
At the core of every AI companion is a large language model — the same technology behind ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. These models have been trained on billions of conversations, so they understand how humans talk.
But a raw language model doesn't have a personality. It's like a talented actor with no script.
Personality Systems
Each character in Private Room has a detailed personality prompt — think of it as the character's "soul." It defines:
- •Who she is — name, age, background, interests
- •How she talks — speech patterns, vocabulary, emoji usage
- •Her personality traits — shy vs bold, playful vs serious
- •Her boundaries — what she will and won't discuss
This prompt is sent to the AI with every message, so the character stays consistent across thousands of conversations.
Memory and Context
The AI remembers your conversation history. When you come back after a day or a week, she picks up where you left off. This is done by feeding the last 20+ messages back to the AI each time.
The Escalation System
This is what makes Private Room different. Most AI companions are either always tame or always explicit. Our system has phases:
- •Warm up (first 10 messages) — Flirty, playful, getting to know you
- •Heating up (messages 11-25) — More direct, sensual, building tension
- •Full connection (25+ messages) — Matches your energy, goes where the conversation leads
The AI knows which phase it's in and adjusts naturally. This mimics how real attraction works.
